Lindblad Expeditions - National Geographic
National Geographic Endurance
About this vessel
Purpose-built for polar navigation, the National Geographic Endurance is designed to navigate polar passages year-round and safely explore uncharted waters while providing exceptional comfort.
The first new polar build in Lindblad's 50-year history, she is named in honour of explorer Ernest Shackleton and his legendary Transantarctic Expedition. A fully-stabilised vessel of the highest ice class (Polar Code PC5, Category A), her patented X-Bow provides an extremely smooth, quiet ride and superior observation. She accommodates 138 guests in 76 spacious cabins, including two solo cabins, and carries a full suite of expedition tools — Zodiacs, kayaks, snowshoes and cross-country skis.
